Top Things To Do This February Half Term

It’s almost that time for another half term to arrive! As we’re just days away from February half term up and down the country (Monday 17th to Friday 21st February), we take a look at a handful of activities, events and days out you and your family can enjoy during the week off!

Inflatable Adventure World (Liverpool) 

The UK’s biggest indoor inflatable theme park rocks up at Liverpool for the first time ever this February! This family attraction has a little something for everyone, whether it’s assault courses, bumper cars or huge slides, Inflatable Adventure World has you and your family covered.

The event takes place over three days at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool, starting on Friday 21st February and closes on Sunday 23rd February with the following timeslots available to choose from:

Friday 21st February: 12pm-2pm, 2:30pm-4:30pm, 5pm-7pm, 7:30pm-9:30pm

Saturday 22nd February: 10am-12pm, 12:30pm-2:30pm, 3pm-5pm, 5:30pm-7:30pm, 8pm-10pm

Sunday 23rd February: 10am-12pm, 12:30pm-2:30pm, 3pm-5pm, 5:30pm-7:30pm

In total there are nine different activities for all the family to enjoy, including:

  • Giant Ninja Warrior Assault Course
  • Wipeout/Meltdown
  • Crash Cars
  • Water Rollers
  • Minion Assault Course
  • Paw Patrol Assault Course
  • Circus Mega Slide
  • Hollywood Slide

It’s been advised that the inflatables are for children aged between 3-14, with adults only permitted to assist their children over the inflatables when a trained member of staff cannot oblige.

Standard tickets cost £10.99 (including booking fee). All sessions have unlimited access as a two-hour session slot. Ages 2 and under are free of charge. Spectator tickets are available for £3 (including booking fee). More information about the event can be found here

Monkey around at Trentham Monkey Forest (Stoke-on-Trent)

With over 60 acres of forest to explore, you can enjoy watching over 140 monkeys freely roaming around.

The attraction is due to reopen on Saturday 15th February in order to allow families to enjoy this unique experience once again during the half term holidays.

You can book tickets online here and save up to 10% off the total cost. Online ticket cost prices vary from £8.55 for adults, £6.75 for children (aged 3-14) and free entry for under 3 years old.

Monkey Forest is open from 10am till 4pm throughout half-term. If you’re travelling via car, it’s approximately a one-hour drive away from Liverpool, however there are also trains (Stoke train station) and buses that travel within proximity of the attraction.

Be wowed at the Art of the Brick (Manchester)

This Lego themed exhibition based in Manchester is sure to peak your children’s interest this half term, with over 100 pieces of artwork constructed from over 1 million Lego bricks!

An added incentive to visit the famous and popular attraction this February is that children can attend free of charge, so long as they’re accompanied by one paying adult.

Go on a treasure hunt with Treasure Trails! (UK)

Available up and down the country, no matter where you’re based whether it’s Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham or London, there are various treasure hunts to be explored with Treasure Trails!

The Treasure Hunt Trail pack costs £9.99 which includes a treasure map and information about the event. This can be sent out to you in physical form via the post or digitally downloaded on a mobile or tablet device.

Most trails take approximately 2-3 hours to complete with the distance covered up to 3 miles. This is a brilliant opportunity to enjoy the unique treasure hunt experience with your family and friends, whilst also learning more about the history of the city you live in.
