As the Easter holidays approach, we thought we’d take a look at some fun activities and days out you and your family can enjoy throughout April.
Liverpool
Otterspool spectacular Easter fun
Otterspool is getting a transformation this April as it turns into the Easter Wonderland for families to enjoy a lot of egg-cellent fun!
The fun Easter Adventure offers a range of exciting activities including the Spring farm, Easter show – including Oompa Loompa Adventure, Easter egg hunt, Easter bonnet parade and the chance to plant your own carrots at the potting shed!
Children also have the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny and receive an Easter egg for an additional £3.50
Event dates: Saturday 1st April – Sunday 16th April
Event costs: Children £19.00, Adults £9.50, Toddler £9.50, Concession £7.00, Under 1 go for free

Easter egg hunt at Strawberry Field
The iconic Strawberry Field in Walton, Liverpool is launching a fun-filled Easter experience for families this April!
Packed with animations, garden explore tours and FREE Easter egg hunt, it’s sure to make for a fun day out. Whilst you’re there, the event allows for the opportunity to enjoy an interactive experience that tells stories of the house, The Salvation Army, John Lennon’s childhood, as well as the writing and recording of ‘Strawberry Field Forever’.
Event dates: Saturday 15th April – Monday 17th April 2023
Event costs: Adults £10.95, Children (under 16 w/paying adults) are free to go

The Indoor Funfair returns!
The exciting Liverpool Indoor Funfair makes its big return to the Exhibition Centre in Liverpool, at the King’s Dock this April!
They have a range of fun and exciting rides available for people of all ages including: the waltzers, helter skelter as well as attractions such as the dodgems, carousels and more!
There is also a café located throughout, offering food and refreshments should you wish to take a break from all the fun!
Event dates: Tuesday 4th April – Thursday 13th April 2023

For something a bit different this Easter, why not take advantage of Liverpool’s fantastic Easter panto fun!
The Epstein Theatre on Hanover Street is hosting a family favourite pantomime this April with Sleeping Beauty! Details of ticket prices and show times are provided below:

Treat yourself in the Easter Market
There is an Easter market on offer to visitors at Heaton Park in Manchester this April, allowing you the chance to treat yourself to some Easter goodies and help local businesses in the process! But act fast as the markets are only open for a few days!

Hit a hole-in-one at Treetop Adventure Golf
Treetop Adventure Golf in Manchester offers two unique 18-hole min golf courses with both Ancient Explorer and Tropical Trail on offer this Easter!
When you’ve finished a round of mini golf, why not enjoy tucking into some of the food and drinks on offer, with pizza, mocktails, soft drinks and sweet treats available in the restaurant and café!

For some inflatable fun this Easter, pop down to Kid’s Adventure Kingdom! Peter Rabbit will be on site welcoming families, along with the Dinosaur Invasion and for something a bit different, magic shows, balloon modelling and face painting! There’s sure to be something for everyone.
Hot food, crepes, donuts and candy floss are on offer throughout the event!

Event costs: Entry is free of charge, tokens can be purchased on-site to use the inflatables, rides and game stalls.

Explore and discover at Sea Life Manchester
Get up close and personal with a wide range of creatures at the Sea Life in Manchester! From sharks, jellyfish, and sea turtles, there is so much on show here!
After a fun day exploring and discovering the wide range of sea life on offer, you can pop next door and visit the LEGOLAND Discovery Centre for just an extra £10! Both events combined promises to make it an unbelievable family day out.

Easter Eggstravaganza at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo
The yearly Egg Hunt for children at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo returns is back!
You can purchase a The Golden Bunny Easter Trail sheet upon entrance and use it to help try solve the clues to find the Golden Bunny and at the end you can claim your prize!
Throughout the event there will be face painting opportunities for the young ones to enjoy

Egg hunt at Hampton Court Palace
Considered one of the best places to enjoy Easter Egg Hunting, the Lindt Gold Bunny hunt returns to Hampton Court Palace this Easter for families to experience.
During the Easter Hunt, you can find out all the history about the fascinating people who visited, worked, and lived in Hampton Court Palace!
This event is designed for children aged 4-12 years old and their families. Estimated time to complete the hunt is 1 hour 30 minutes.
