Mo Bros at Goldsmith Williams grow a load of 'Stache

Published: 01/12/2011

Staff at Goldsmith Williams have grown together to raise over £600 in aid of charity.

Male members of staff, affectionately known as Mo Bros, sacrificed any street cred they had by cultivating moustaches throughout November to help raise funds and generate greater awareness of men’s health, specifically prostate cancer, and other cancers that affect men.

Originating in Melbourne Australia, Movember has gathered pace to become a global movement, inspiring more than 1.1 Million Mo Bros and Mo Sistas to participate. Last year, over 112,000 Mo Bros and Mo Sistas across the UK got on involved and raised £11.7 million for the cause.

Sean Carter, chief co-coordinator of this year’s gallant effort, said: “This is a fantastic achievement and we thank everyone who has sponsored us to grow facial hair. I’d also like to thank my colleagues for being such good sports and enduring no end of ribbing from colleagues, friends and family. It’s all in aid of a very deserving cause and we’ll endeavor to double our efforts next year.”
