Goldsmith Williams Solicitors to rebrand to GWlegal

Published: 08/05/2017

Liverpool-based national law firm Goldsmith Williams Solicitors is set to undergo the biggest transformation in its 30-plus year history.

The firm will assume a new identity, GWlegal, as part of an all-encompassing company rebrand.

GWlegal’s ultimate mission is to provide a fully-rounded legal proposition for clients, who will return to GW again and again.

A refreshed logo, featuring the letters GW within a vibrant, teal-blue circle, will spearhead the brand and, according to the firm, represent this mission. The logo will be the centrepiece of a complete company rebrand. Clients and introducers will also benefit from a new website, improved letters, leaflets and other promotional materials, and much more.

GWlegal will continue dealing with matters of property and equity release, remortgage, financial claims, personal injury and wills & probate.

Adele Whittle, Director of Operations at the firm, said:

“Rebranding from Goldsmith Williams to GWlegal will see us better represent the company that we are – a thoroughly modern, technologically-savvy firm in an ever-changing marketplace.

“At GW, we offer the everyday legal services you require to move smoothly through each stage life’s journey – property law when purchasing your first home; equity release when you retire; financial claims or personal injury services when something goes wrong; will writing to protect you and your loved ones. The full cycle.

“The decision to go for a circular logo reflects that, whereas the overall refreshed look mirrors our vision to move forward and investigate new areas of work.”

GWlegal will retain its current board of management, headed by partners Eddie Goldsmith, Chris Williams and Simon Cottrell, in addition to Finance Director Allister Hill and Director of Operations Adele Whittle.

The rebrand will also coincide with a new workspace for the firm, which intends to relocate its 150 staff from the historic Mersey Chambers to 20 Chapel Street in the Liverpool business district later in the year.

For now, it’s business as usual at Goldsmith Williams. More information about the firm’s transition to GWlegal will be announced in due course.
