February half-term has arrived! If you and your family are looking to plan some fun and exciting days out in the coming weeks, then it’s worth looking at some of the following ideas:

Liverpool

Space, Universe and everything at Liverpool Cathedral

The inside of Liverpool Cathedral is due to be transformed with the immersive art installation called ‘Space, Universe and Everything’ this February.

A display ranging from lights, projects and sound gives visitors the opportunity to feel surrounded by the wonders of the universe.

The art installation takes place from Friday 18th February 2022 through to Sunday 27th February 2022 with shows scheduled to start every 15 minutes from 6pm-8pm.

Feel like a member of The Beatles at The Beatles Story exhibition

Whether a local or visiting from afar, The Beatles has played a massive role on everyone’s life!

Take in the history and learn more about the lifestyle of The Beatles when visiting The Beatles Story on the Albert Dock front with fun activities included throughout. Afterwards take home a souvenir from the Fab4 gift shop or dine out in the Fab4 café.

Try your hand at one of the many spectacular escape rooms

The popular escape room trend is a big tourist attraction throughout Liverpool City Centre with multiple companies offering the chance to try your hand at the fun activities.

Breakout Liverpool offers families with children aged 10 and over (accompanied by an adult) to enjoy a range of fun themed rooms varying in difficulty, from The Heist and Spellbound to Detective Office A & B if you fancy going up against each other to see who can escape first and the quickest! For something a bit different to your traditional escape room, there are also VR (virtual reality) themed rooms to enjoy with Escape Live and outdoor hunts to experience around the City Centre and Albert Dock with Escape Hunt.

Get a hole in one at Dino Falls Adventure Golf

Fancy yourself a bit of a golf pro? Are you a fan of dinosaurs? Why not combine the two with the fantastic Dino Falls Adventure Golf! This is a fun day out to be had for people of all ages.

The venue, which is located near the Trafford Centre, features both a volcano and rapids course, including a six-metre walkthrough sprouting volcano to experience.

Considered one of the biggest adventure golf attractions outside of London, it features all your favourite dinosaurs from a tyrannosaurus rex, baby triceratops and diplodocus just to name a few!
